I have a wealth of experience with all breeds of dogs, from training people who own their first dog through to providing expert assistance with rescue dogs. I work all across my local Bolton area, usually within 15-miles or so, offering 1-2-1 sessions with you and your dog. Owning a dog is a wonderful experience, however we all need help now and then, so why not book a training or walking session?
Although a lot of dog trainers offer group training sessions, I find that where possible you will get the most from your session through 1-2-1 dog training. This gives us both time to get to know each other and understand what you are looking to get out of the training to ensure you achieve the results you want. It also focuses more time on your dog, usually my session lasts an hour.

I got in contact with Neil at dog paw training, as i was struggling with my English bull terrier Dolly. I have had English bulls all my life, and i have always rescued them. Dolly was a young puppy, but very energetic, and i was struggling. Neil is a fabulous trainer and worked fantastically with Grace our Cockapoo. She was a reactive dog so Neil helped us calm her nerves, minimise her barking and interest in other dogs and helped us work better with Grace. He used his own trained dogs Jelly Bean, Dumplin and Bruce to help Grace overcome her nerves and it worked a treat. Can’t recommend Neil enough and we shall be back with Neil in the near future for more sessions. Thanks Neil you really helped Grace move forward and become a happier dog

We asked Neil to help with our 8 month old cockerpoo Milo to get him to walk on his lead. Neil is very knowledgeable and explains his method simply and effectively. Neil also recommended a type of harness that until I tried it I wouldn’t have used a harness. After just a couple of days Milo has stopped pulling and we are enjoying our walks.

Made contact with Neil after we picked up a rescue Frenchie who had behavioural issues, including aggression with people and other dogs. Neil’s approach was simple but very effective. We now have a lovely family pet with more obedience and less aggression. He is still work in progress but Neil has helped Leo make massive improvements.
